We now have a budget that is sustainable. A reserve fund that is fully funded, with scheduled yearly increases. Our cities financials have not looked this good in our history. Clean audits, quick budget approvals from the state & a better bond rating is the proof.
This is a recurring process that I have supported and will continue to support in my next term.
In the 2016 Fairview board of commissioner election, the community wanted something more than administrative changes at City Hall. They demanded changes in the deeply rooted negative culture that plagued Fairview for far too long. Today, the culture at City Hall is a new place. Gone are the meetings where it was normal to see finger pointing, name calling, yelling, members storming out of meetings, etc.
As you can probably already see, major changes have taken place over the last 4 years. I have worked hard to make decisions that are for the betterment of Fairview. Fairview now has positive momentum and we must keep the right leadership in place to stay headed in the right direction.
